Luckily, I first have to follow the link for the prequel series/etc., and only then to do I have to go to the library. And haha, never underestimate being perceived as bland. The more exciting things that happen, the more you wish it was a movie.

It’s Michael from V, but he looks a lot like Tommy Verceti, now that you mention it (and sounds like him, and acts like him, if a little older). I have never gotten that far in that game, but the video in the video is of me unknowingly jumping off a cliff and landing at the psychiatrist’s house, to automatically start a mission.
